European Fertility Week 2017 by Member Associations

Many Member associations took part in European Fertility Week 2017 – they were participating in our #40reasons campaign as well as organising events and other initiatives to provide best support for infertility patients in their own countries.
So here are some of them:

FREYA Netherlands
Our very active, creative and ever-impressive Member never stopped during European Fertility Week 2017!
As a theme of this week, Freya chose in 2017 the impact of fertility problems.
They were carrying on with ‘I’m 1 in 6’ campaign to help people break the silence by pointing out that infertility is also about them.
Media:
– the television program Jacobine on Sunday devoted attention to the male perspective of unwanted childlessness.
– Marjolein Grömminger of Freya gives a radio interview on Radio Gelderland.
Free 7 days ‘Love for yourself’ challenge.
Publication of NL version of Fertility Europe video and #40reasons campaign about the importance of openness about fertility problems in a broader perspective.
Freya disseminated a press release on the study of the impact of fertility problems.
They had a Twibbon available with the logo of European Infertility Week.
James Worthy writen in Parool the article “In my dreams our frozen baby is a girl”.
Informal and cosy campfire in Maarn (It was raining but fortunately there was a shelter!)
Freya puts a movie with #ditraaktmij made with submitted pictures that show the impact of fertility problems.
Call for new survey on relationship and sexuality .
Greetz generously gave them a discount code, which allowed people to send a ticket to someone who gives them a lot of support.
In the preparation of the Fertility Week Freya organised a contest: express the impact of fertility problems in a creative way. They chosen 7 wins and every day a winning contribution was placed online.
They also asked people to send a picture, giving image and text an expression of #Ditraaktmij in relation to fertility problem.
Freya magazine available in the clinics for people at the beginning of their infertility. This magazine has been in preparation for much longer and EFW2017 was a great moment for launch.
In addition, all fertility clinics have received bookmarks with supporting texts, to offer a gift for the patients in the waiting room.

Kiveli the Greek Fertility Support Association, participated in the European Fertility Week for the second time this year.
Their annual conference was in Thessaloniki and this year was devoted to the 40th anniversary of IVF.
